Developing a full copy platform and design for a print-based retailer marketing communications tool advising the dealership on how to manage local advertising, press activity and event opportunities. The style of the copy was in line with the corporate guidelines issued by B&O.
Sony - Top Dog
Copywriting and creative concept work for a retailer staff promotion encouraging inter-staff competition in the sale of specific products. The tone of the document was informative but jovial and light bearing in mind the target audience was early 20s, competitive and predominantly male.
Loro Paiana
Trade press media communications consisting primarily of new fabric descriptions for interior design applications. The Loro Piana language is one of luxury and indulgence and this needed to be fully reflected within the copy.

Writing of copy for existing audio and television product ranges. These items were used for direct mail and as in-store handouts.
Eurofactor
Eurofactor were looking for input on brand perception. Research was carried out into attitudes towards the company from clients and introducers. The findings were then compiled and reported, and from this a marketing plan was developed. Key brand anchor words and a copy platform were put in place and creative such as press advertising, website, data sheets and product folders were designed.

New product material was written and designed together with retailer-specific invitations for product launch events throughout the country.
Sony/John Lewis
John Lewis is a key retailer for Sony in the UK. A stylish, jointly-branded brochure was photographed, designed and developed together with emotive copy that remained true to both brands.
Sennheiser, Press Releases
I regularly edit Sennheiser’s press releases which have been translated from German into English. Translations, by their very nature tend to be static and a direct facsimile of the original. However for publication these releases really need to have some sparkle injected and that is what The Copywriting Shop does on an almost weekly basis for Sennheiser. I have also been involved in the more complex writing of an international PR toolbox directed at press-facing Sennheiser employees.

I was involved in writing customer retention communications for Nespresso offering purchasers of domestic coffee-making equipment membership of The Coffee Club.

It is a rapid-response odd-job service offering a range of general and specialist home/office repair and renovation services from fixing a leaky tap to renovating an original Georgian sash window. The copy needed to reflect the competitive nature of the sector but also reassure higher spenders that their property was in careful hands.
Audrey Bryce Associates
Audrey (www.abatraining.co.uk) is a freelance telesales trainer who is passionate about cold calling. In her job she regularly needs to infuse nervous or jaded telesales staff with the desire to succeed on the phone. I started writing a series of sales emails for Audrey and quickly got involved in helping her with designing HTML mailers, PDFs and print-ready leaflets promoting her business.

Valeriana de Berardinis (Val) is the Italian dynamo behind the Val’s Natural Bakery and Farretti brands. Passionately organic, Val uses spelt flour to bake her truly delicious savoury biscuits.
